Editorial independence
Supplying or loaning a product does not guarantee coverage, a positive conclusion, inclusion in a buying guide or publication by a particular date. Pixalrig retains editorial control over what is covered and what is said.
Review samples
Where a product is tested hands-on, relevant coverage should disclose whether the item was purchased by Pixalrig, supplied for review, loaned temporarily or retained. We do not accept conditions requiring a positive review or prior approval of editorial conclusions.
Corrections and factual checks
Companies may provide verifiable factual corrections before or after publication. Product makers and PR representatives cannot rewrite Pixalrig’s opinion, suppress legitimate criticism or require removal of accurate information as a condition of access.
Embargoes and confidential information
Embargoes must be agreed before confidential material is supplied. Unsolicited confidential information does not automatically create an obligation to publish or keep material confidential.
Paid and sponsored activity
Any paid placement or sponsored content must be agreed separately and labelled clearly. It remains distinct from independent editorial recommendations. Pixalrig does not offer undisclosed paid reviews.
What to include in an enquiry
- Product or announcement name and its relevance to UK readers
- Official source, press page or full specifications
- UK price, availability date and retailer information where applicable
- Embargo terms stated before confidential material is shared
- Sample terms, including whether an item is a loan or may be retained
